It is semi-official. I no longer attend ECON414, Game Theory (Tuesday, Thursday at 9:30).
Here's why I say semi-official. I was simply waiting for the course website to start working. This Monday night, it started working, so I didn't go to class. On Thursday, however, it wasn't working and that might suggest my attendance soon.
Lemme remind myself about something before it gets too late. I have a big Geography test on Monday for which I have to learn very many countries... I also have.. darnit.. I've got math homework due Monday too! Last time that took me hoooours to do. 'cuz it's hard... ;_;
And then due Tuesday I probably have Game Theory homework due but I dunno 'cuz the website stopped working... >.>
Oh, yeah, I'm covering for somebody on Monday night, too, cool.
Oh, and of course I have Quantum Homework due in, like, five hours but I'm not worried about that.
Now, that introduction brings me to my Thursday, my second day of work. First day of work, about which I didn't write, I learned how to make a pizza having never before worked with dough. I then occupied myself serving pizza. I might have scared people away with my nonstop pacing but.. like.. How do people stand still? Come on! Especially when music's playing... That was cool until cleanup which was miserable. I didn't become particularly efficient at making pizzas, but I got good at multitasking (serving while paying attention to production).
Today, though, was different. I liked it more. Thursdays we are understaffed. I guess quite seriously understaffed. I got put on dining hall.. Now, our diner is very large and often very, very busy. So I have a riddle for you.
How many student employees does it take to oversee 7 trash cans and empty them all as soon as they fill up, while simultaneously keeping all the hundred or so tables clean? The answer... Umm... 1.. And.. Me.
Actually, if you had asked any other day the answer would probably be "Four".. The number of people usually assigned to it... Or maybe just three. But when they only have two people working, the job normally doesn't get done.
So know how I walk like five billion times as fast as everyone else? And I'm really hyper? (My boss does anyways) Well, I did it...All by myself. 7 - 1, never stopped moving, or even slowed down significantly, except for my 20 minute break. My bosses were super-impressed! And it was sooo fun! I got to use so much energy that I usually never use during the day. And from now on that's where they're gonna' put me (way better than pacing relentlessly waiting for people to come ask for pizza). Except it's gonna' be even easier 'cuz I'm actually gonna' have help from now on.. x.x
